The short version

Gift List Guru is free to use. To keep it that way, some of the product links on the site are affiliate links — when you click one and the merchant makes a sale, we earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra and the price you pay is exactly the same as if you’d gone to the merchant directly.

Our promise

• Affiliate commission never influences which products show up in our suggestions or browse pages — those rankings come from your interests, the categories you pick, and the editorial choices made by the team.
• You always pay the same price as you would going to the merchant directly. Affiliate links don’t increase the price.
• If a product is out of stock, mispriced or otherwise mis-listed by the merchant, please let us know and we’ll remove or fix it.
• We never sell, lend or share your personal data with affiliate networks. They only know that “a click came from giftlist.guru”, not who you are.

How tracking works

When you click an affiliate link, the merchant’s site (or the affiliate network) may set a cookie that lets them attribute a subsequent purchase back to us. This is a standard part of affiliate marketing and is independent of any analytics cookies Gift List Guru itself sets — see our Privacy Policy for those.
